Joining the expanding range of Heyco insulation products is the one-touch insulation sleeve for straight or flag type terminals.

Once a terminal has been crimped onto its wire, the new Heyco sleeve is fitted over the terminal to prevent the ingress of dust and provide effective insulation for the electrical connection.  One-touch sleeves feature an innovative integral hinge mechanism that snaps shut with fingertip pressure for rapid assembly around its designated terminal types.

Recesses on the tab shoulders ensure that the tabs stay securely in position. The range contains a number of removable covers that allow easy access for the replacement of damaged connectors.

One-touch sleeves are available in self-extinguishing nylon to UL94V-2 or halogen-free UL94V-O ratings with many parts carrying UL approvals.

Other types of insulating covers offered by Heyco include a wide selection of soft and flexible connector sleeves, crimp covers, tab caps and switch covers all providing a low-cost solution to connector insulation.
